Britney Spears Was Being Searched For WAY Too Much In 2007
Britney Spears continues her reign as the human clusterf*ck people just love to gawk at, laugh at, shake their head at, judge, masturbate to (there's some sick people out there), pray for, blame for their marriage breaking up, advertise radio stations with, make frappucinos for, check into hotel rooms, and apparently search for on the Internet the most. Yahoo has announced that "Britney Spears" was their most popular search term for 2007. And would you believe she's been on that list for the past seven years and usually topping it? Have we learned nothing as a country? Shut up, I don't perpetuate it! I'm a cultural interpreter! Britney was beat out by Paris Hilton in 2004, but reclaimed the top spot in 2005. Two full Glad bags fighting. Here's what the top ten looked like:

1. Britney Spears
2. World Wrestling Entertainment (sad, but not shocking)
3. Paris Hilton
4. Narturo (it's manga - cartoon girls with big eyes satisfying odd fetishes)
5. Beyonce (will sell anything)
6. Lindsay Lohan (will drink, snort or screw anything)
7. Runescape (I don't even have the strength to open Wikipedia)
8. Fantasy Football (boring, needs a "Best Body" section)
9. Fergie (don't get too close)
10. Jessica Alba (possibly the most irritating actress in Hollywood)

There ya have it. America in ten lines. Hopefully someone crosses out "Search Terms" and changes it to "Targets". I kid because I love.
