Jesse Metcalfe has proposed to Nadine Coyle.

The singer, 22, is said to have shown her Girls Aloud bandmates the ring as they performed at London's G.A.Y.

'In a quiet moment before the girls took to the stage she showed her bandmates a ring on her finger,' says a source.

'I couldn't see which finger as they were huddled around. The way they were all cooing seemed to suggest it was something special.

'She then asked an assistant to lock it away before they took to the stage because she didn't want anyone to see it or, more importantly, to lose it.'
