Keith Urban’s Accuser Has Criminal Past

Amanda Wyatt claims she was in a relationship with Urban for two years until two months before he married actress Nicole Kidman - a charge which Urban denies.

According to court papers, Wyatt is due to appear in a Nashville, Tennessee court today on an aggravated assault charge. An eyewitness affidavit states Wyatt was the “primary aggressor” in an altercation with another woman at a local Nashville bar in March 2005.

A witness says Wyatt knocked the victim to the ground, grabbed her hair and also kicked her. At the time of the arrest, Wyatt admitted to participating in the fight, but denied “any violence toward the victim”.

This isn’t Wyatt’s first run-in with the law - according to E! Online she pleaded guilty to an aggravated assault charge stemming from a bar brawl with another woman in 2003.

According to court papers, Wyatt grabbed the victim’s hair and hit her on the side of the face and continued to hit and kick her after she fell to the ground. She was given one year’s probation, but ended up serving time in jail when she violated it by missing a court appearance.
