The actor, 21, appeared in a Chicago court at 9 a.m. to answer a charge that he refused to leave a downtown Chicago Walgreens drug store last month, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The hearing lasted a minute; Walgreens Co. said it didn't wish to continue the case.
Usmagazine.com had reported that LaBeouf was arrested for trespassing following a night of partying at Chicago hot spot The Underground.
