most famous for his marriage and recording career with Tina Turner, has died in his home in San Marcos, CA, at age 76.I

ke married Tina (Sandra Mae Bullock) in 1958. The duo had seven top 10 R&B songs, won a Grammy in 1972 for their song Proud Mary, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1991.
