The 24-year-olds have been dating for a year, following Hilton's split from Kevin Connolly, and are already ready for the big step. Nicky and Kevin Connolly were previously rumored to be engaged shortly before they broke up last October. Nicky had been sporting a significant diamond on her finger before the breakup.
A source tells Star magazine, "David is planning to propose while they're in Hawaii at the Hilton mansion. David already asked her parents for her hand in marriage at a recent family dinner."
This would be the 2nd marriage for Nicky Hilton. In 2004, Nicky wed family friend and New York businessman, Todd Meister. However, the union was annulled just three months later. Nicky then went back to Kevin Connolly, whom she dated before the marriage as well.
