Nominee Tina Fey Proud to Be "Least Glamorous Person" at Golden Globes

30 Rock rocked the television side of the Golden Globe nominations this morning, winning nominations for Best Television Series – Comedy and Best Performance nods for Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin.

"I am excited and very grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press, and I look forward to being the least glamorous person at the Golden Globe Awards," Fey said in a statement to Usmagazine.com.

30 Rock is nominated in the same category as Californication, Entourage, Extras, and Pushing Daises.

Fey is up against Christina Applegate for Samantha Who?, America Ferrera for Ugly Betty, Mary-Louise Parker for Weeds, and Anna Friel for Pushing Daisies.

For Best Performance for an Actor in a Comedy, Baldwin will compete with Steve Carell of The Office, David Duchovny of Californication, Ricky Gervais of Extras, and Lee Pace of Pushing Daisies.

Nominated for Best Television Series – Drama: Big Love, Damages, Grey's Anatomy, House, Mad Money, and The Tutors.

The competition for Best Performance of an Actress in a Drama Series is fierce: Patricia Arquette for Medium, Glenn Close for Damages, Minnie Driver for The Riches, Edie Falco for The Sopranos, Sally Field for Brothers & Sisters, Holly Hunter for Saving Grace, and Kyra Sedgwick for The Closer.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers was nominated as Best Performance of an Actor in a Drama Series for The Tudors. Also nominated: Michael C. Hall for Dexter, Jon Hamm for Mad Men, Hugh Laurie for House, and Bill Paxton for Big Love.
