Melanie Chisholm is ready to have children

I want to be a mum in the next few years. But it hasn't been the right time yet.

Until that she is enjoying the company of her bandmates' children.

I am enjoying the other girls' children. They are really lovely kids, from the little babies, to Phoenix and Brooklyn. And I can give them back at the end of the day. They are lovely and I'll have my own one day.

The other spice girls have altogether seven children: Victoria Beckham, 33, is mother to Brooklyn, 8, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 2 1/2, Melanie Brown, 32, has Phoenix Chi, 8, and Angel Iris, 8 months, Emma Bunton, 31, has Beau Lee, 4 months, and Geri Halliwell, 35, is mother to Bluebell Madonna, 19 months.
