Britney Spears Enters Rehab?

"Extra" is reporting that pop star Britney Spears is entering a rehab facility.

Spears was last seen leaving New York City four nights ago on a private jet with her two young sons heading to Miami.

Britney Spears checked into the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami around midnight on Monday with her boys, 17-month-old Sean Preston and 5-month-old Jayden James for a week of work reports US Weekly in Florida.

"The hotel was full so we put Britney and the children in a two bedroom condo hotel room, which is very residential and like a big city apartment," a hotel source tells Us.

By Wednesday night, the source says, Spears was feeling so overwhelmed by the kids that even though she had planned originally to stay a week she decided to fly back to Los Angeles on Valentine's night. "Something happened," explains the source.

Spears entering rehab comes after months of hard partying and friends having reached out to her to seek help.

On Tuesday, Britney Spears' former assistant sent a heartfelt plea to her old boss -- to clean up her life and seek professional help.

Felicia Culotta, 41, who worked for the singer for nearly a decade, is devastated by Spears' destructive behavior since she filed for divorce from Kevin Federline last year.

In an excerpt from a letter, the assistant explains, "I loved being with Britney for the past nine and a half years. I enjoyed being a part of her dream, but now, am living my own dream.

"I cherish all the incredible opportunities that came my way thru (sic) my job with Britney and am crushed/saddened/heart sick by the way her life is unfolding.

On Sunday night, the singer, 25, who was making the social rounds in New York City, arrived with a group of girlfriends at the downtown hot spot ONE on Sunday night wearing a micro-mini red dress reports People.

"But she was complaining that she didn't like it and wanted to change," a source tells PEOPLE.

Sunday nights at ONE feature go-go dancers clad in fishnets and bikinis. "So she called the dancers over to talk to them, she said, because she really liked those fishnet stockings," the source says.

A few minutes later, "Britney came upstairs in a dancer bikini and a white busboy jacket. And that's what she walked out wearing."

And during Fashion Week, Though the popstar recently split with her boyfriend of several weeks, model Isaac Cohen, she was showing no signs of the break up blues the last few days . In fact as one witness to her club-hopping on Tuesday night told Page Six, Britney has been "partying like a college girl looking to get laid."

Britney's Tuesday night debauchery began at Marquee. A spy said that she "demanded all alcohol be kept far away from her." But Spears's behavior suggested otherwise. She was dancing with her gal pals and "falling all over the place," said another clubgoer. The source remarked, "She must have been drinking secretly in the bathroom…She was also chomping on lollipops from the bathroom all night. And she didn't leave any money for the bathroom attendant."
