Though the episode won't air until Christmas Eve, Usmagazine.com caught up with Regis Philbin this morning, and he said Pitt couldn't stop talking about the holidays with his children. (Angelina Jolie had told Us they were spending Christmas in New Orleans.)
"He's got four kids now, so they're going to be hopping around," Philbin told Usmagazine.com this morning after the taping. "He got quite nostalgic, buying them the presents that he got as a kid years ago."
Such as?
"Well, I think trains," Philbin said. "I didn't pin him down, I'm not Us Weekly!"
Philbin said he had met Pitt before "years ago" a Vanity Fair Oscar after-party.
"He came up to me, and he said, 'Can I take a picture of you? My mother is a big fan!'" Philbin recalled. "I was very flattered. So we took a picture together and now I wish I had that picture. His mother's got it."
When asked if he tried to put on Pitt's trademark newsboy cap, Philbin replied, "He didn't take that hat off. But it's a great hat, isn't it? It curves so beautifully."
