Possible Jail time for Wesley Snipes

As most know, Wesley has been in and out of the news in regards to his issues in the area of tax fraud. Make that… 8 counts of tax fruad. He pretty much said that all the info being spread about him is basically ruining his reputation. Ya think? All the talk is making him out to look “irresponsible, dangerous, guilty … an evil dude.” Um…who’s fault is that Wesley?

He said his last ‘Blade’ film didn’t pan out well because it came off like he was “hired help.” Not to mention all the “systematic racism” that he claims has effected him. Wesleys trial is scheduled for next month sometime, and apparently he could face up to 16 years in jail.

I don’t know, but I just doubt he ends up doing that much time. What bugs me the most about all this is that many celebs tend to always blame their mistakes on other things. I just don’t see how ‘possible racism’ is to blame for him being guilty of tax fraud. I know it exists in our world, but how in this case? Either he did or didn’t pay his taxes. I am sure his taxes are insanely high because of his income, but come on. Think of someone like Oprah … her taxes have got to be outstanding! Thats probably why she donates so much. Then there’s people like me who make beans compared to Snipes and I still pay my taxes. Does it suck? Hell yeah. But is it worth going to jail over? I think not.
