The New York branch of Charity: Water hosted its second annual fundraiser in order to provide fresh water to individuals living in African countries through the building of wells.
This year's fundraiser took place on Monday December 17th from 7-10pm at the Metropolitan Pavilion, located at 125 West 18th Street, New York, New York, 10011.
2007's fundraising event for Charity: Water was entitled Charity: Ball and was co-hosted by Jessica Stam and Adrian Grenier, who was the host for 2006's fundraiser.
Jessica Stam is an actress and model; she has appeared in the Victoria's Secret fashion show, on the cover of Vogue for Germany and the United Kingdom, and in several advertisements including those for Prada, Marc Jacobs, Valentino, Gucci, Holt Renfrew, Dolce & Gabbana, and Vera Wang.
Adrian Grenier has appeared in the movies Arresting Gena, Drive Me Crazy, Harvard Man, and The Devil Wears Prada. He currently stars in HBO's Entourage as Vince Chase.
The Charity: Ball featured an exhibit created by the organization's founder, Scott Harrison along with Metropolitan Events & Production. The exhibit includes photographs, video instillations, interactive displays, and soundscapes. The Charity: Ball also contained a live musical performance.
A silent auction was also held at this year's fundraising event with items donated by YSL, Prada, Soho House, Mulberry, David Yurman, and Delano.
