The show finished production on next year's fourth and final season, set to debut in September, according to the Hollywood Reporter. New episodes will continue to air until the third season wraps up next month.
The network issued a statement Wednesday:
"We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."
It is unclear, however, what repercussions her pregnancy will have on the show's fanbase of impressionable kids.
Barry Garron, chief TV critic for The Hollywood Reporter, tells Usmagazine.com: "If I’m Jamie Lynn Spears, I would start to think that my future is no longer with Nickelodeon, that I may have a future in acting, but it would be for a different audience, one that is not made up of little kids who hold her up as a role model.”
