The duo reportedly tied the knot while in Paris earlier this month when they were celebrating Jay-Z’s birthday because, “they didn’t want all the attention that usually follows them around,” a source tells MediaTakeOut.com.

But while Beyonce, 26, and Jay-Z, 38, wedding rumors are as common as their hit records, new tattoos on both of the musician’s ring fingers (with the Roman numeral for 4) seem to indicate some sort of mutual commitment.

“They thought the tattoos would be a lovely personal touch,” the site reports.

Beyonce’s reps say they “don’t know anything about it,” while Jay-Z’s didn’t return calls. The couple have been dating since 2002 and a loose-lipped source at Jay-Z’s New York apartment block has been claiming for weeks that the pair was engaged.
