Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz were spotted in a late night tête-à-tête over the weekend, causing onlookers to wonder if perhaps the exes are on their way to a reconciliation.
It all started late Friday night when JT was having drinks at a West Hollywood bar with a group of people, including director Martin Scorsese. (Marty Scorsese hanging out with the pop singer almost seems newsworthy in itself to us, but it doesn’t stop there.) Around one in the morning, Cameron showed up and spent a half hour talking to Justin aside from the group.
A witness described the exchange by saying, “They weren't kissing or holding hands or anything, but they were being very friendly.” Which we assume means that Cam wasn’t yelling and gesticulating wildly at Justin, as she may have done at a recent Golden Globes party.
Cameron and Justin then left the bar together, though no word on whether or not they actually “left together”.
So, what do you suppose the former flames were talking about so late at night? We can’t imagine that Cameron was congratulating Justin on his sexy new music video with Scarlett Johansson. Or that Justin had much to say about Cameron’s supposed rebound man, Kelly Slater.
Perhaps the couple was merely discussing their new mutual friend, Marty.
