Natalie Imbruglia one saucy Aussie!

Natalie Imbruglia attended the Launch of the David Jones clearance sale in Sydney, Australia, December 26th.
On February 4th, 1975Natalie Imbruglia was born, in a small town just two hours away from where this photo in Sydney was taken.
“It was only cool to have blond hair and be a surfer chick [in Sydney]. I could learn how to surf, but I still looked Italian.
It took me a long time to realize that was a good thing.”Natalie Imbruglia
Natalie practically rose form obscurity to fame with her hit song, “Torn” and follow up, “Wishing I Was There.”
She took tap and ballet lessons as a child.
“It taught me discipline and steadfastness”, she said in an US magazine interview.
“I wasn’t that good but I was so determined that I used to put planks of wood down in the garage, and practice and practice.
I’d lie in bed at night and work my ankle exercises.”
She had a temporary role on the popular Australian soap opera Neighbours., but she grew bored with therole and left.
She moved to London for two years and after having money problems, she started writing songs to try to earn some money.
She showed her work to Mark Fox, former Haircut 100 percussionist and current creative director for BMG publishing. Fox, in turn, contacted Phil Thornally, the former bassist for Cure.
The three of them then recorded “Torn” which became a giant hit for Natalie.
This post is running so long, I am not even going to mention how madly sexy Natalie looks in that dress and those heels!
