The Week In Preview

It's almost 2008, people!  Time to start the year off right.  If you can't make it out of the house on Monday night, there are a ton of televised New Year's parties. Here are the three best:

OLD SCHOOL: Hang with Ryan Seacrest and ubiquitous New Year's host Dick Clark in Times Square while they (okay, maybe just Ryan) rock out to Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Fergie, Akon, and the Plain White T's, among others, on ABC.


NEW SCHOOL: New media superstar Tila Tequila hosts MTV's annual party this year.  She's going masquerade style, which we can only hope means that she'll be dressed in another skanky outfit.  Catch Tila as she parties it up with Mary J. Blige, Kid Rock, and Good Charlotte.

RECESS: Sports authority ESPN is getting into the New Year's mix this year with their own celebration, Evil Knievel-style.  Ring in the new year with daredevil stunts performed on both coasts, including ridiculously hard motorcycle jumps and truck flipping.

With Mischa Barton still on for her Vegas NYE hosting duties, staying in front of the tube may be your safest bet.  What will you be doing for New Year's?
