Dancing with the Stars contestant Marie Osmond has been through a lot this past year, including the end of her 20-year marriage to Brian Blosil, the death of her father and her 16-year-old son entering rehab. However, that doesn't mean she isn't happy. The 48-year-old tells Extra,

I have great kids. I love my kids, you know that and it's okay. It's okay to be alone, and it's okay to be busy and it's a choice you make to be positive with what comes at you in life.

Marie's greatest joy also doesn't come from performing, but from her children.

I'd love to sing opera. I love theater. But truly, when you get to a certain place in your life, the joy comes watching your kids.

Marie and Brian have seven children together -- Jessica Marie, 20, Rachel Lauren, 18, Michael Brian, 16, Brandon Warren, 11, Brianna Patricia, 10, Matthew Richard, 8, and Abigail Michelle, 5.  Marie also has a son, Stephen James, 24, from her first marriage to Stephen Craig.
