Johnny Depp tops Forbes' highest paid Hollywood actors' list

What it requires to become the highest paid actor in Hollywood besides good acting talent and good looks, it is a clear idea of business. This is what has made Johnny Depp top the Forbes list of highest paid actor of Hollywood. Depp made a whooping $92 million between June2006 and June 2007.

Depp has been popular, mostly playing Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean. However, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise are more popular than Depp and they have greater fan following than Matt Damon. The Forbes magazine, however, found Damon as the most bankable star.

At the end of the day, it seems that big roles in expensive films and an army of admirers worldwide does not necessarily matters when it comes to delivering revenue for the film producers. May be some good luck peppered with some good money sense helps deliver those dollars.

As for the top female Hollywood earners, the list is headed by Nicole Kidman, followed by Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts. Kidman is also in danger in losing her position if her movies stop becoming the money-spinners as they earlier used to be.
