"It is the people's awards. That is absolutely what separates it from the others. It is an interactive awards show. Most awards are decided by a body of people. This one is decided by the American public -- whoever wants to log on and vote," Latifah tells ET.
This is the second year that the Oscar-nominated actress will be hosting the show, and she is planning on having a good time.
"What I am going to wear on the show, I am not sure yet," she continues. "We are kicking that around. It will probably be some fabulous gown, some funky little outfit, because it is a fun show -- and some fabulous hair. And more importantly, I will be in a good mood."
Fans can still vote in three categories -- Favorite New TV Comedy, Favorite New TV Drama and Favorite User Generated Video -- by logging on to www.pcavote.com. It also isn't too late to submit questions you'd like to hear answered by your favorite stars. Then, throughout the program, the award winners will answer some of these burning questions, in addition to making their acceptance speeches.

Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin are co-hosting this year's Academy Awards. Who do you think will be more entertaining?
Alec Baldwin! Have you seen "30 Rock"? Genius!
Neither...I am not the biggest fan of these guys! Bring back Hugh Jackman!
Steve Martin! I have a feeling he'll bring his banjo!
