Time to Truly Step Up K-Fed

Kevin Federline is doing what he see fit in the care and rearing of his two young children (mothered by Britney Spears). I commend him for his efforts as a provider of such needs to the boys. But as a father, a loving father that is, Kevin is falling short. Has he, or his attorney, ever considered that Britney may be lashing out further and further because she feels as if her back is already to the wall. She has nothing else to lose at this point. Any GOOD, loving father would do all he could to work with the mother of his children instead of against her. YES, I believe she has a lot to change in her life. As do we all, but maybe, just maybe, if anyone stopped knocking her and gave her the benefit of the doubt….she would jump on the opportunity to prove them right. Britney spent the first two years (of being a mother) at home with her two sons. Loving and caring for them and being a good mother. She has already proven that she CAN do it and do it right.

As for all of the tit-for-tat goings on in the court room…..I say HOGWASH! I know that this a high profile case and everyone wants what’s best for these boys. Or do they? I’ll tell you right now that the judge that ruled on my divorce would not, and did not, allow all of the finger pointing, name calling and slanderous comments and allegations that have been allowed in the Spears-Federline case. I’m starting to wonder if anyone, even the judge, has the best interest of the children in mind at all. It’s looking more and more like a really high profile case that is being dragged further and further out for the purpose of media recognition for all involved. And how much money is being pulled from Spears’ bank account each month to cover K-Feds attorney fee’s and court cost’s? That’s right, good ole Brit get with ALL the fee’s that are being racked up during this long drawn out battle of the most quick witted.

I say as long as Federline doesn’t have to shed a single penny from his pocket, he feels like he can afford to prolong any final ruling that could be made if he and Spears could just talk it out peacefully. And why shouldn’t he drag it out? It’s just another form of publicity for him. The longer it goes on, the more people want to know about what Federline is doing. Sad thing is, no one cared what he was doing before he met Britney.

I feel like Federline used Spears to promote, and support, his dreams of being a rapper when he married her. I believe he is still using her to further promote his cause through this court case and all the publicity that surrounds it.

I want to know this too. Is K-fed really living on the straight and narrow? What happened to the girlfriend that he had filling in as part time mommy in Spears’ absence? Are they still together? Federline (according to OMG.com) was spotted out on the town with Paris Hilton. The story reads that he and Hilton had been spotted getting cozy together while at a Las Vegas night club last nigh (Dec. 31,2007) and Hilton might have even given him a little kiss on the cheek. That’s all good and innocent I suppose. But the story further reads that Federline had met Hilton, later that night, to hang out. They were spotted together again on Sunday. So I ask again, where is the girlfriend?

While everyone is pointing the finger at Spears, maybe they should just go ahead and pull the ole rose colored glasses off and see Federline for what he is. He is out partying and hanging out in hotel rooms with Hilton. Spears was caught doing the same, with a member of the paparazzi, and became front page news. Seems to me, and I could be wrong, that Federline is out playing the field a bit, these days, just as Spears has done. Now I wonder why no one has started the “Bad Daddy” name calling on ole K-fed? Well, I say if Spears is a bad mother for it then he can be accused of being a bad dad for it.

Bottom line is…..this have all spiraled way too far out of control. The media is making mad money off of this ridiculous custody battle, as are the attorneys and courts. Federline has stepped up as a parent and has done his best to be a responsible parent during all of this. Spears has taken some time, now that she is single, to have a bit of wild and crazy fun. But so has Federline (to a degree). Federline needs to realize that Spears never really had a chance to get out and sew those wild oats before settling down for marriage and motherhood. Instead of trying to get sole custody, of the two minor children between the couple, maybe he should be pushing for temporary sole custody allowing Spears the time to experience life at it’s fullest and get it out of her system.

I just hope, and pray, that Federline has the children’s best interest at heart. Bouncing from woman to woman will not be in their best interest. So maybe he should just stay single a while and dedicate all of his free time to the boy’s. Then sit down with Spears and work out something that would, not only please the two of them and the courts, be in the best interest of the children and their lives. Having a mommy makes a world of difference in a small child’s life. As does having a daddy.
