This past Friday, Bryce Dallas Howard was visited by the stork and was left with a bouncing baby boy. It's the first child for her and her husband, Seth Gabel. Entertainment Tonight reports:

Her rep confirmed the birth to People, but did not provide details about the newborn's name or weight. Bryce is the daughter of acclaimed director RON HOWARD. Her breakout role was as a blind village girl in M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN's 'The Village.' She went on to star in his theatrical follow-up, 'Lady in the Water.'
But as it turns out, the son to whom she gave birth is actually...HER FATHER! GASP! SHOCK! HORROR!
