Harry Potter actor donates glasses to Holocaust exhibition

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has donated his first ever pair of glasses to a new Holocaust exhibition. Radcliffe, whose mother is Jewish and first wore the glasses at age six, is one of a number of stars who have donated their glasses to the new exhibition soon to be opening in Liverpool. Yoko Ono, Stephen Fry and Jerry Springer also gave up their spectacles. Around 1,000 pairs have so far been donated to the art project, which is inspired by a famous Second World War picture of a mountain of mangled spectacles. National Holocaust Day is on the 27 January.
