Norah Jones breaks up with bassist boyfriend

The new year isn’t even a week old and we already have our first celebrity break-up to talk about. The news is that Norah Jones and Lee Alexander have parted ways over the holidays. The queen of croon and the bass player for her band had been dating for several years. Friends say that the break was cordial, though we still have no confirmation on who dumped whom.

Lee, who had helped Norah write her last album “Not Too Late”, however has been partying away the break-up blues in New York. One wonders whether the twain will collaborate on the professional front again.
