Xtina Answers The Age-Old Question: Whether 'Tis Nobler To Suffer Stretchy Pants, Or To Forgo Pants Altogether, When One Reaches Nine Months Of Pregnancy

Oh, Christina. Wherefore art thou clothes?

I'm, like, totally torn here. On the one hand, mad props to Ms. X for foregoing the Liz Lange maternity wear and sallying forth in sheer, stretchy netting and no pants. That takes serious nerve. Or serious lack of judgment, because, on the other hand, what was she thinking, for seriously?

I've been avoiding looking at the picture too closely, because I fear that the absence of pants - not that sheer netting makes for an effective pants-suit, maternity-cut or otherwise - extends to Ms. Aguilera's choice of undergarment. And while I get the frustration that comes late in pregnancy with the profound discomfort caused by underpant waistbands and, really, any fabric whatsoever rubbing against one's unimaginably stretched-out groin skin, I don't know that shunning pants and underpants altogether is the answer.
