Carrie Underwood's Denies Tony Romo

Romo wants a break from Underwood
Tony Romo is heading into the big game in Dallas against the NY Giants with a big cloud over his head....can he keep it together and his head straight for the big game...and with T.O. possibly being sidelined only the football gods and complete focus can help....A lot of Dallas fans were PO'd at him for taking a weekend trip to Mexico with his girlfriend Jessica Simpson,but he has spent the past few days reviewing tapes and practicing hard. Carrie Underwood did what any ex would do, she denied they were ever a couple to begin with...ouch!

“He was not my boyfriend and we were never dating,” the country star, 24, told the January/February issue of Women’s Health. “The more I screamed ‘We’re not dating!’ the more headlines claimed that we were a couple or that I was crying because he was out with another girl.

“We’re really good friends, we hang out a lot, and we’re close…well, friends smooch occasionally,” she added
