Ouch.
On one hand, it really would suck to know that the baby gift you gave to your supposed BFF was given away to charity. On the other hand, it’s very generous of Nicole and Joel to donate things they don’t need to people who do. And on the third hand (what are we, aliens?), if she and Paris were still such close friends, wouldn’t Paris have known that Nicole already had a crib? So much to ponder. Nicole Richie is once again on the outs with on-again off-again BFF Paris Hilton after she donated an elaborate baby crib, a gift from P.H, to charity. Paris was pissed when she discovered that the expensive crib she’d purchased at L.A’s posh Petit Tresor Boutique probably ended up somewhere in the “projects.”
“Paris sent them a crib for their baby. It was very expensive, and she was mad when she heard they gave it away,” a source tells Star Magazine.
“Paris told Nicole, ‘This isn’t something you give away to charity!’” “But Nicole already has furniture for the baby’s nursery that her dad, Lionel, bought for her. She appreciated Paris’ gesture, but she doesn’t need another crib-Nicole would rather it go to some needy child!”
