As crazy as this diet sounds, some nutritionists say that it might actually be healthy. Here’s what Harley Street Nutritionist Yvonne Bishop-Weston had to say about Victoria’s diet:
“The key things in Victoria Beckham’s reported diet aren’t as wacky as they sound. A good quality algae & seaweed shake is a useful way of getting some great nutrients into the body.”
“Dulse seaweed could help to balance the body’s metabolic rate and chlorella algae can help with detoxification and thus potentially assist with the breakdown of deposits of fat.”
“Edamame soy beans are rich in protein and phyto-oestrogens, and strawberries despite their sweetness have a quite low glycaemic load and are rich in anti-oxidants. Miso soup generally has both tofu and seaweed it.” [Source]
Could YOU eat this kind of stuff?
