Ah, the Golden Globes!  The dresses!  The drama!  The drunkenness!  Oh yeah, and the awards – which, sadly, is all we got this year.  Since there was no spectacle to watch on TV, the least we at Dotspotter can do is bring you the results, with a little help from Celeb Warship.  Envelope please!

 

Because of the writer’s strike, the Golden Globe Awards were announced via a boring press conference. Here are the nominees, with the winners bolded:

I don’t agree with most of the TV choices, but I was thrilled to see Marion Cotillard and Javier Bardem walk away with Best Supporting trophies: if you haven’t seen La Vie en Rose and No Country for Old Men yet, you should do so immediately. I also loved Daniel Day Lewis in There Will Be Blood, but he already has enough props from everyone else.
