But The New York Post - venerable newspaper that it is - figured that simply reporting on the news of the Dallas Cowboys/New York Giants game yesterday wasn’t enough.

Therefore, the publication set out to make news by hiring Lynsey Nordstrom to portray Jessica Simpson in the stands.

The 21-year from Washington actually does a mean look-alike of Tony Romo’s girlfriend, and the resulting Dallas loss did lead to Terrell Owens crying.

So, what we’re trying to say is: Way to go New York Post! We’ll see Lynsey Nordstrom in Green Bay this Sunday, right?
