Nicole Richie's "Simple Life" just got a little Sweeter with a birth of her Daughter Harlow!

Nicole Richie has given birth to a baby girl, her rep has confirmed to In Touch. Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed 6 lbs., 7 oz.. According to a source, Nicole's fiancé Joel Madden and Nicole's whole family — including her father, Lionel Richie — were with her at the hospital. "Everyone looks happy," says a witness.

 

 

 



According to Nicole, the couple opted to wait until the baby’s birth to find out whether they are having a boy or a girl — which made decorating the nursery and shopping for clothes a bit of a challenge. “I’m nosy,” she confides. “I like to know everything. If he wasn’t at every doctor’s appointment, I probably would have found out.”

 

 

 



Nicole and Joel are planning to get married in early spring.
