We’ve heard of quick Hollywood marriages and even quicker divorces, but this beats them all. How does a couple have a wedding – even a symbolic one – and then break up? Gabby Babble explains (best they can at least, considering):
That was quick! Only two weeks ago, Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds had a "spiritual ceremony" in Bora Bora and today they announced that they are breaking up.
Here is Eddie Murphy's official statement:
"After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further.
While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends."
Tracey probably dumped him after she found out that he wants nothing to do with his baby with Mel B, not even to meet her! How could someone not want to meet their child?

Its been rumored for years that Eddie is gay and she didn't want to be his beard. I don't know why she even got with him in the first place. She must have needed some publicity.
