Michelle Williams Devastated By Ledger’s Death
In light of the recent tragic death of Aussie actor Heath Ledger, Michelle Williams, his once-fiancé and the mother of his two-year-old daughter Matilda, is taking the news extremely hard.

Reportedly, the “Dawson’s Creek” actress was on location in Sweden with her daughter when she received the news that Heath had been found dead.  According to a source close to Williams, “She’s devastated.”


And according to an insider, little Matilda was the apple of her daddy’s eye.  “He was absolutely in love with his daughter.  And he really liked what he did [acting]. He spoiled [Matilda] rotten. He was playful and very funny with her.”

Another source mourned, “I can’t believe Matilda is going to grow up without a dad, without knowing her father. And that Michelle will have to deal with having a daughter who’s lost her father. She’s a survivor. She’ll make it, but it’s going to be hard. Her first concern is going to be Matilda.”
