Jessica Simpson is threatening to sue OK! Magazine over the snitch mag’s scoop that the singer has been kicked to the curb by Tony Romo. The February 4th issue of OK! features an article entitled Jessica Dumped!, which details the Romo/Simpson split claims. Jessica’s legal team has fired off a acid-tongued letter to OK! ordering the mag to “immediately publish a prominent and unambiguous” retraction.

According to TMZ.com:

Lawyers for Jess: have sent a letter to OK!’s Editor-in-Chief, Sarah Ivens, claiming OK!’s article is bogus, adding that Jess and Tony are still together and that Ashlee and Jessica remain close. The attorneys say the article reflects a “smear campaign” and has subjected Simpson to “public contempt, ridicule, aversion or disgrace.”

  • Okay have taken it further than just gossip with Jessica. Each week they have ridiculous articles about her. Over two years it is bound to take it's toll. A lot of people have turned against her purely on the basis of false stories.
