Poor Ashley Simpson, she finds a guy she likes in Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and he goes and dumps her before they can even start dating. And then he insults her. After also having admitted that he likes to kiss boys. Gee…maybe their relationship wasn’t destined to be after all.
Despite the fact that the musical twosome has been spied holding hands and making out all over the place for the last six months, they’re not a couple, according to Pete. The punk-pop bassist recently told Rolling Stone magazine, “Maybe in a different universe, we'd be some hot couple, but not in this one.” Ouch!
Pete doesn’t take his and Ashley’s public displays of affection seriously. That’s not surprising considering he also told Blender magazine a while back that, “I'm a make-out king--I'll kiss anybody.” Anybody, Pete? Apparently so, since when asked if that included kissing boys, he said, “I have. Anybody above the waist is fair game.”
Ashley might want to rethink swapping spit with the rocker if that’s how he feels, particularly since he’s not very considerate when on the topic of her. Pete’s big free-for-all mouth also told Rolling Stone, “I'm attracted to creative people and train wrecks, and there's no shortage of that in Los Angeles.”
So, what have we learned? Pete Wentz will kiss anybody, including “train wrecks” like Ashley Simpson… but it doesn’t mean anything…especially if it’s above the waist.
