It was a strictly A-list affair last night at the opening of 'Voom Portraits', famed photographer Robert Wilson's high definition video portraits of celebrity subjects, including Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, and Salma Hayek.
Wilson, the legendary avant-garde theater artist, was commissined by the HD channel in 2004 to create a series of shorts starring famous faces. The collection was first unveiled last month at New York's Phillips de Pury and Paula Cooper galleries, and has been receiving rave reviews.
For those unable to make either of the shows, Voom has begun to release the videos online. The first and (currently only) video on Voom's site is none other than Brad Pitt wearing a pair of boxer shorts. (It's the same photo that was put on the cover of December's Vanity Fair, against Brad's wishes.) Check out Voom's Wilson page HERE .
