Daniel Radcliffe Slammed For Smoking & Going Nude

Daniel Radcliffe Slammed For Smoking & Going Nude Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is being slammed as a bad role model for kids

The baby-faced star goes full nude during the special performance of Equus.

Wearing a Loadsamoney-style Fred Perry shirt and jeans, the 17-year-old also puffs on a cigarette at the Gielgud Theatre in London.

The Harry Potter star, 17, puffs on a cigarette during a special performance of his new show, Equus, the Daily Mail newspaper reports.

Amanda Sandford from anti-smoking organisation ASH, said: "It is regrettable that he is smoking, whatever the circumstances. He is a role model for young people and if he decided to take up smoking in real life that would be of great concern," the paper reported.

Radcliffe could be putting his health at risk, she claimed. "Even though it is an act, nicotine is highly addictive and he could find himself hooked," Mrs Sandford said.

His co-star Joanna Christie has backed Daniel for appearing nude in the production. Christie, 24, said: "I can't believe there are people saying he's a bad role model for children. He's an actor playing a part and in the story he happens to have a relationship with a girl.

"The play is on school syllabuses. Ian amazingly interesting, complex story. It's not about nudity or sex. It's about a lot of very complex issues."

Meanwhile, Billie Piper has confessed to Charlotte Church she can't wait to see Daniel Radcliffe's new play - because she is intrigued to see his manhood.

The former 'Dr Who' star is dying for a front row ticket.

Billie told Charlotte during an interview on her Channel 4 chat show: "I feel slightly disturbed by the whole thing. But I'm definitely going to see
his play. I'd really like to get a peek."
