Today is what we on the Internets call “slow.” Keyboards around the office have fallen silent and our RSS feeds move at a snail’s pace. What to do when the coffee goes cold?

Today necessity has borne Mollygood’s first ever Secret Thread.

The anonymity of the Web can lead to awful things. The popular show To Catch a Predator regularly trots out sick men whose sex lives rely on the cover of IM, and just yesterday we told you about the annoying but tormented Chris Crocker’s ceaseless battle with faceless homophobes. People are rotten when nobody’s watching.

Here, though, let’s use the pseudonyms and indefinite locales of this global network for good instead of evil. Use this thread to get off your chest anything you’d like using any name and e-mail address you want. In love with your coworker? Think you’re gay? Ashamed that you’re on the Internet more than you’re on the treadmill? We want you to write it down in the comments section. And we won’t ask you to do any Hail Marys or Our Fathers in return.

It’ll be more interesting if you’re honest and too interesting if you confess to killing a man. Have fun!
