ABC Comes Out First With Renewed Shows For 2008-09

Great news if you are a fan of the following shows, because they have been renewed for the 2008-09 season:

ABC has picked up nine of its most successful scripted shows for the 2008-09 season, including first-year offerings “Pushing Daisies,” [BACK IN 08 “Private Practice,” “Samantha Who?” and “Dirty Sexy Money.”]

In addition to those four new shows, ABC gave no-brainer early pick-ups to “Desperate Housewives,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Lost,” “Ugly Betty” and “Brothers & Sisters.”

Some of the shows on the network’s schedule that remain currently unrenewed include freshman drama “Women’s Murder Club,” the Emmy-winning “Boston Legal” and “Men in Trees,” which still has a lot of unaired episodes in the can.

No word yet on Cavemen.  I know you are all really stressing over that show.
