Writers’ Strike Ends: Find Out When Your Favorite Shows Will Return

Late last night, the major studios and the Writers Guild of America agreed to a new three-year contract, ending the grueling writers’ strike.

“The strike is over,” Patric M. Verrone, president of the WGA West, said in a statement obtained by Usmagazine.com. “Our membership has voted and writers can go back to work.”

So when will your favorite shows come back?

Saturday Night Live: February 23
Desperate Housewives: Filming resumes the week of February 24, Extra reports; new episodes to air this spring
Boston Legal: Final original episode airs Feb. 19; expected to shoot 4-7 new episodes to air in April/May
Grey’s Anatomy: Expected to shoot 4 or 5 new episodes to air in April/May
Private Practice: May film some episodes to air in spring
Ugly Betty: Expected to shoot several new episodes soon
CSI: Expected to shoot 4 to 7 new episodes to air in spring
CSI: Miami: Expected to shoot 4 to 7 new episodes to air in spring
Two and a Half Men: New episodes expected to begin airing in mid-March
Gossip Girl: Expected to shoot up to 9 new episodes to air in April/May/June
House: New episodes likely to return in late April or early May
Heroes: Not likely to air anymore new episodes this season
The Office: Six or so new episodes will begin airing April 10
