The company that owns Kim Kardashian's infamous sex tape is halting its sale of the video. While they claim that they have “a legal right to distribute the video” after paying an unnamed third party $1 million for it, porn giant Vivid Entertainment has stopped their plan to sell Kim Superstar. At least until they can get a face to face meeting with its star.
We're wondering what Vivid hopes to achieve by meeting with Kim. Perhaps they just want to put an end to her nasty little lawsuit against them. But one would think that their supposed “legal rights” would keep that worry in check.
Or maybe, the dirty distributors want to ask their star to do some high profile endorsements for the vid. We're pretty sure that they could convince Kim's co-star and ex-boyfriend Ray-J to do that, though.
Perhaps Vivid just wants to clear the air with the heiress. You know, make it apparent to her that the real bad guy is whoever sold her out to begin with. (Granted, of course, that she's not secretly the one behind the sale of the homemade porno.)
Whatever Vivid has up their sleeve, we're keeping tabs on the video's release date. It's bound to be an instant hit in the canon of celebrity smut.
