"They just discovered each other actually," he told Usmagazine.com. "That happens with twins, they actually don’t even acknowledge each other’s presence 'til right around this time. One of them looked at the other one last week and did a double-take; it was really startling like, 'Who are you?'"
Quaid's wife Kimberly Buffington gave birth to the twins on Nov. 8. Later that month, they almost died when accidentally administered an overdose of an anti-coagulant.
"They're here in town with us," Quaid told Us at the New York premiere of his new film, Vantage Point. "We’re having a blast. They're great."
"We actually took them out on the street when it was warmer the other day and just going around with them in the stroller, it was actually the first time we’ve been able to do that."
When it's cold out, Quaid enjoys down time with his kids: "We just laid around in bed and made funny faces at them and see how they react!"
