Lindsay Lohan Picks Up Eight Razzies With ‘I Know Who Killed Me’ at The Insider

The Academy Awards reign biggest and brightest among awards shows, but let's face it - it's often predictable and so full of love that we practically need an insulin shot after it's all over. That's why we're grateful each year for the Razzies - the perfect snarky foil to the Oscars. And who swept this year's celebration of the most heinous in Hollywood? None but our girl Lilo! Movie starlet Lindsay Lohan was top of the flops as her film I Know Who Killed Me picked up a record eight Razzies at the awards panning the worst of Hollywood.

Humiliated LiLo even managed to share the Worst Actress prize with herself for her portrayal of student Aubrey Fleming and her alter ego Dakota Moss. And her two characters took the award for Worst Screen Couple.

I Know Who Killed Me was also named Worst Picture and Worst Excuse For A Horror Movie among its clutch of awards. Its eight Golden Raspberry Awards broke the unwanted record held by box office turkeys Showgirls and Battlefield Earth, which both collected seven Razzies.

Lindsay continued a long tradition of furious winners snubbing the awards by failing to show at the event in Santa Monica, California. The awards were handed out as usual a day before Hollywood’s biggest night of the year, the Oscars.

Eddie Murphy also took a slating from the judges as he picked up a hat-trick of Razzies for Norbit. He was named Worst Actor, Worst Supporting Actor and Worst Supporting Actress for his various roles in the film.

Razzies chief John Wilson saluted Lindsay’s double “success” in the Worst Actress category. “It’s appropriate that it’s a tie, because at the end of the movie, you don’t know if it was one person or two people, or are they twins, or are we as mentally ill as the screenwriter and director,” he said.
