[/cut]The rumors have been confirmed! Heaven and Hell (AKA Dio-era Black Sabbath) WILL be recording a new album... and SOON! An update was posted on Ronnie James Dio's official website last Friday which stated that Ronnie will be headed to the UK in March to meet up with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Vinny Appice. [Cut = Read more...] They will begin work on the new album, then take a short break, meeting up again in Los Angeles to finish the album in April and May. No release date has been announced, but the album will be released through Rhino Records.
This had been rumored for awhile (ever since their reunion tour last summer), but now that it is finally confirmed we fans can breathe a sigh of relief. The grandfathers of metal are back!
