Eric Clapton has been reportedly invited to perform in concert in North Korea's capital Pyongyang which has been confirmed by an official at the country's UK embassy. If Clapton accepts, he will be the first Western rock star to perform there. Reports suggest that Clapton has agreed in principle and the concert taking place in 2009. However, Clapton's management has not confirmed the invitation.
North Korea's leader Kim Jong Il's son, Kim Jong Chol is said to be a Clapton fan.
Clapton is in New York City this week, performing a series of concerts at Madison Square Garden with Steve Winwood. I wish I could see one of those shows!
Isn't it interesting how great music can bring so many people together despite vast political differences?

Did you think one of the characters were going to die on Heroes when Eric forced them to point the gun and shoot it?
