Music icon Simon Cowell has spent an incredible $80 million on a lavish new mansion in London.The American Idol judge purchased the house from an innovative property developer - who is in the process of giving the period terrace an underground extension which will include a swimming pool, a mini spa with a Jacuzzi and treatment room, and a parking garage for six vehicles.Work on the classy property, located in the British capital’s exclusive Holland Park area, is expected to be completed at the end of the year.
