Shar Jackson playing mom to Britney Spears's kids?

Star Reports that around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, Britney Spears left the Hotel Bel-Air to go to the Tarzana, California home where Britney believed Kevin was holed up with their two sons. Once she arrived at the gate outside Kevin’s home, “Brit’s assistant rang the bell. No one answered, but Kevin was obviously home because the lights were on,” an eyewitness tells Star. Britney and her assistant waited ten minutes, drove around the block several times – before unsuccessfully attempting to reach Kevin again. Witnesses say that at that point, Britney was very upset, and proceeded to attack a group of photographers with an umbrella.

Britney sped away after the rampage. If she had stayed, the scene that night could have gotten much worse! What Britney didn’t know – and what Star can exclusively reveal – is that Kevin was not alone with the kids that night. Instead, he was accompanied by his ex, Shar Jackson! “Kevin wouldn’t open the door because Shar was in the house,” an insider tells Star. “He was afraid that if Britney saw Shar there, she would do something right in front of the kids!” “Shar’s been playing mom to Britney’s kids – and she’s ready to do it permanently,” a source tells Star. “Shar loves Kevin and she would take him back in a heartbeat.”

Now Shar Jackson, Kevin Federline's ex-girlfriend, and mother of two of his children, is speaking out to squash rumors that she and Federline are secretely dating again. In an exclusive statement to Usmagazine.com, Jackson's rep, Juliette Harris, said:

"Shar Jackson will continue to maintain the necessary relationship with Kevin that is in the best interest of raising their two children. This weekend Shar and Kevin visited together with the four children, and that this was the first time that all four children met. Any insinuation that she is involved with [Kevin and Britney's] problems or break up in any way is preposterous. She has always been supportive of Kevin’s choices, both publicly and privately. Shar refuses to be pulled into their relationship and will not comment further on any personal matters."
