Magazines and papers have been reporting that Chris Rock and his wife, Malaak, are having trouble. Some sources have even gone so far as to claim that the pair may have been considering ending their relationship, which started a Hollywood-lifetime-ago in 1994. And the Rocks are tired of taking this abuse sitting down. While we could sink to the obvious jokes, Malaak Stuck Between a Rock and a Hard Place, and Sex, Drugs and Rock, just as some examples, we have to cut out short since this is one joke that's not funny to the funny man. In a surprisingly serious letter (especially for a comedian), Chris Rock defended his marriage to his wife. We guess Chris is so set in denying the rumors about his marriage that he doesn’t even want to play off the allegations, which would have been much more amusing and in line with what we are used to hearing from him. Somehow it isn’t as fun to be reading about Chris in a serious manner. He even goes so far as to use the phrase “we have tried in the past to take the high road.” Come on - does Rock really seem like the type to take the high road? Afterall, we like cheap jokes.
