Say what you want about rock ballads, there's one tune that always makes us melt. It's "Yellow" by Coldplay. And it's because it was written by adorable lead singer Chris Martin for his Oscar-toting wife Gwyneth Paltrow. Writing multi-platinum love songs is such a hot Hollywood maneuver.
Chris Martin hails from England (hence Gwynie's odd adopted accent) and has guitar chops like no other. He's also a big fan of music of all genres, having collaborated with the likes of Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Nelly Furtado.
Chris's got heart, too. He supports the international fair trade movement and had been known to be vocal about politics. And, of course, he's a devoted (hot) dad to little Apple and Moses.
Coldplay's back in the studio recording their next album now, though no word if Chris will be dedicating any songs to Gwyn this time around.
What do you think of Chris Martin? Is he hot or not?

Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin are co-hosting this year's Academy Awards. Who do you think will be more entertaining?
Alec Baldwin! Have you seen "30 Rock"? Genius!
Neither...I am not the biggest fan of these guys! Bring back Hugh Jackman!
Steve Martin! I have a feeling he'll bring his banjo!
