Frances McDormand and Amy Adams Promise to Remain BFF

Reviews of "Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day" make me think that I would enjoy seeing the movie. And it doesn't hurt that Frances McDormand and Amy Adams are starring in it. I love these two--especially because they look like they're pinky-swearing something here on the red carpet at the New York City premiere of their movie.

France McDormand is awesome, in her no-nonsense black dress. Girlfriend doesn't mess around with the red carpet. You just know that she was sitting at home, stuck a bookmark in "The Pillars of the Earth" (because despite herself, she watches Oprah from time to time), threw on her black ensemble and resolved to be home in time to read another chapter before getting to sleep at a decent hour.
